In a Las Vegas Dairy Queen, a sword-wielding menace thought he could intimidate employees and customers long enough to make off with the loot. But one brave employee refused to become a victim, shooting the robber twice. He was wielding an extremely vicious katana, commonly known as a samurai sword.

The Las Vegas Sun reported two DQ employees were outside afterwards, crying at the traumatic event.
