Two men who robbed a Clayton County man got more than they bargained for.

Bill Dowis has been selling firewood out of his house for years and never had any problems. Two robbers posing as customers threatened him at gunpoint, but he yanked out his own gun.

Dowis thought it was odd when they used 100-dollar bills to buy $10 worth of firewood. The robbers made him lie on the ground in his bedroom, but that's where the old veteran kept his gun.

He scared him off.
