House Republicans Request Special Counsel
to Probe Holder on 'Fast and Furious'
New CBS documents show that Attorney General Eric Holder was sent briefing on the Fast and Furious operation in July 2010. That directly contradicts his statements to Congress.
Ten months later, Holder lied to Congress -- claiming to have heard about Fast and Furious over just the previous weeks.
DOJ's Lanny Breuer, among others, was talking to Holder about it all the time.
Gun-walking -- where the goverment gives violent gangs guns -- was secret from the American people until those guns killed a Border Patrol agent.
